She would often go with her daughter Annie. She also enjoyed playing at the casinos around the area. Shirley loved going to garage sales as well as having garage sales of her own. Her last job being a receptionist for the tribe at 7 Clans Paradise Casino before her retirement. Shirley then worked at the Bingo Hall for the Otoe Missouria Tribe in 1980 and stayed employed with the tribe for over 30 years. She worked many jobs throughout her life, her first being the CHR Director for the Enid State School. She had the honor of being the Otoe Missouria Tribal Princess in 1962. She then went on to Northern Oklahoma College and majored in nursing. Shirley attended Red Rock High School and graduated with the class of 1962. She entered this world on Jin Pawnee, OK, born to John and Rachel (Daily) Childs. Shirley Childs, 80, beloved mother and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on Main Ponca City, Oklahoma.
